Water Intake System The system can intake sea water from the Chikuzen Sea and the Genkai Sea at a maximum volume of 103,000m3 per day.
Pretreatment UF (Ultrafiltration) membrane trearment
Sea Water desalination technique Reverse Osmosis (maximum product water volume of 50,000m3/day)
Discharge system Treated water is mixed with the treated water from the Wajiro water treatment center before being discharged into Hakata Bay.
Adjunct Facilities
Tatara water treatment plant, Shimobaru facility complex, aqueduct facility (aqueductφ800 × total length of approx. 21km)
